    The Brainiacs Olympiad is open to students from 2nd grade to 12th grade.
  • How is the Brainiacs Olympiad structured in terms of rounds?
    The Brainiacs Olympiad consists of two rounds: the Preliminary Round, followed by the Global Round.
  • How do I register for the Brainiacs Olympiad?
    Registration can be completed online through the Brainiacs Olympiad website. Specific instructions and deadlines are provided on the website.
  • Are there any prerequisites for participating in the Brainiacs Olympiad?
    There are no specific prerequisites other than being within the eligible grade range and completing the registration process.

    Students must achieve a score of 40 points or higher to qualify for the Global Round.
  • How many questions are in the Preliminary Round?
    The Preliminary Round consists of 20 multiple-choice questions.
  • What is the cost of participating in the Preliminary Round?
    Participation in the Preliminary Round costs $15 USD.
  • I don’t want to participate in the Global Round. Can I only take the Preliminary Round?
    Yes, students can choose to participate only in the Preliminary Round. Those who do can still earn medals and certificates based on their achievements.
  • Can parents accompany participants to the Global Round?
    Yes, parents and guests are welcome. It is essential to provide their details in advance to ensure proper arrangements
  • Can I obtain a refund if I registered for the Preliminary Round but no longer wish to take the exam?
    Once payment has been made for the Preliminary Round, it cannot be canceled, and refunds will not be provided.
  • What if I miss the registration deadline? Can I still take the exam?
    Registration deadlines must be strictly adhered to. No applications beyond the deadline will be accepted.
  • In cases where candidates achieve identical scores, how is priority determined?
    If two or more students achieve the same score, priority is given to the younger contestants. If their ages are identical, the time taken to complete the test is considered.
  • Can I take the exam in a language other than English if I’m not proficient in English?
    The Brainiacs Olympiad does not assess English language proficiency. Exams are available in English, Russian, Spanish, and French.
  • Are certificates awarded by the Brainiacs Olympiad?
    Yes, all participants receive a Certificate of Participation. A Certificate of Achievement is awarded based on individual accomplishments.
  • How are Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals distributed?
    · Preliminary Round: 40% to 49% – Honorable Mention Certificate 50% to 74% – Bronze Medal 75% to 89% – Silver Medal 90% to 100% – Gold Medal · Global Round: Top 10% – Gold Medal Next 11-30% – Silver Medal Next 31-60% – Bronze Medal Next 61-75% – Honorable Mention Certificate
  • How can I receive my medal?
    Medals for the Preliminary Round will be delivered to local partners, where students can collect them. Students in countries without a representative should email info@brainiacsolympiad.com for assistance. The medal distribution fee must be covered by the student.
  • Does the Brainiacs Olympiad offer additional tours following the Global Round?
    Yes, the Brainiacs Olympiad offers optional tours for those wishing to extend their stay in Malaysia. After obtaining visas, students and guests must inform the organization of their interest in the tours promptly. Seats are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Can I apply for the Olympiad if there is no representative in my country?
    Yes, students can directly register on the Brainiacs Olympiad website, even if no partner organization exists in their country.
